freshly squeezed

a newsletter about our thoughts and how we can better support ourselves when left alone with them

further details

  • Hi, I’m Chloe, writer of changing moods, relationships, creativity, spending time alone, etc., and Freshly Squeezed, the newsletter through which I’ll be writing about such things, is dedicated to our thoughts, and how we can better support ourselves when left alone with them

*Freshly Squeezed is a reader-supported publication. To further support this project, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber

  • For the most part, I’ll be sharing through the lens of long-form personal essays, letters, and works of tiny fiction, and the frequency at which I share is anywhere from 1 - 4 pieces published within a 60-day period.

While it might not be much, it will always be my most heartfelt work.

  • All tier options below have equal access to the content that’s shared at Freshly Squeezed. However, if you’d like to further support the efforts behind this writing publication, I invite you to join as a paid subscriber

    • $0/monthly— I enjoy the writing here and would like to read everything that’s available for me to read right now (personal essays, letters, tiny fiction, and the occasional spontaneous video or audio project)

    • $5/monthly— I really enjoy the writing here, am interested in further supporting the efforts behind freshly squeezed, and would like to read everything that’s available for me to read right now (personal essays, letters, tiny fiction, and the occasional spontaneous video or audio project)

    • $60/annually—everything that’s part of $5/monthly, just paid a year upfront

    • $111/founding—all of the above, and my endless gratitude

  • An archive of previously sent newsletters lives here.

  • 01. I’ll be making a transition away from Substack > Buttondown sometime early 2025

If you’d like to continue receiving emails from me and haven’t already, I encourage you to ‘subscribe’ (as opposed to ‘follow’). And for those of you with existing paid subscriptions, they will automatically be transferred when the time comes (but don’t worry—I will be sending out an email beforehand with any additional information that might be useful for you).

    02. What’s the difference between ‘the mailing list’ and the freshly squeezed newsletter? The mailing list (as seen across this website) is for those that would like to receive website updates only (pottery, a home for creating, and the library). Whereas this newsletter, freshly squeezed, is for those interested in receiving personal essays, short fiction, and other writing explorations written by Chloe (me!)
